On this tour, we travel through the soul of Lisbon — from the historic and traditional neighbourhoods of Mouraria and Alfama to the working-class charm of Graça.
We follow the paths of a Lisbon built on encounters — between cultures, eras, and social classes.
It’s a part of the city where the popular and working-class past still echoes through the streets and clings to the hillsides.
From Mouraria to Alfama, passing through Graça, we cross three of Lisbon’s seven hills.
These are old, vibrant, multicultural neighbourhoods where neighbours know each other by name and stories travel from window to window. We encounter the iconic Tram 28 — a living symbol of Lisbon’s daily life — and pause at the viewpoints of Santa Luzia, Porta do Sol, and Senhora do Monte: natural amphitheatres overlooking Lisbon and the Tagus.
Along the way, the city reveals some of its most important monuments: the Lisbon Cathedral, the Church of São Vicente de Fora, the National Pantheon — and the walls of Graça, turned into an open-air urban art gallery.
